First half 19th century, mixed media collages featuring hand-embellished prints of English royals decorated with paper, fabrics, needlework, metal cutouts, and jewels, each set within old wooden frame below glass: the first depicting Queen consort Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen (r. 1830-1837), with original etching label affixed to verso (18 1/2 x 15 1/4 x 1 1/2 in.); the second depicting a young Queen Victoria (r. 1837-1901) (18 x 15 3/4 x 1 in.); the third depicting Queen Victoria and Prince Albert at Covent Garden Theater, labeled to verso (18 x 15 x 1 in.).
All frames with chips and scattered small areas of insect damage; all collages with areas of staining to fabric and paper.
