14th or 15th century, finely cast figure seated in the vajraparyankasana posture on a double lotus base with beaded border, wearing a tiered crown and adorned with elaborate jewelry inset with turquoise and coral, stems of lotus rise on each side, one blossom supports a thunderbolt vajra while the other a vajra bell, the elegant figure is modeled with gently rounded features and an urna inset with turquoise, the richly gilt surface exhibits areas of devotional rubbing and wear, the underside has a hand cut copper plate with irregular hammered edges that remains sealed and is engraved with a double-vajra motif, Lawson's paper tag remains with sculpture.
