WWI German M1915 Jaeger zu Pferde Pickelhaube Helmet

For cavalry with an allover bright steel finish to the exterior, which has an applied German wappen to the face; the painted green and black interior is stamped C.E.JUNCKER over 1916 with the size number "60" on the "lobster tail's" back edge; the helmet's leather chin strap is secured with military rosettes on either side while its distinctive spike is fitted to an oval mount.

The helmet has a 1" push to the left of the wappen; scattered light rusting where elements come together; the leather strap and liner show some crazing; minor paint losses to the interior. The helmet as a whole is very attractive and overcomes the trials of age.
