Late 19th - early 20th century, of black leather with added gilt elements such as the spike, the
wappen, a segmented strap, and a badge reading SUUM CUIQUE; the sides have rosettes signifying Prussia and Germany. The interior with leather and cloth lining, the latter stamped with a large "P."

From a Private Collector, Davie County, North Carolina A vintage typed label inside the helmet reads INFANTRY HELMET / STATE OF PRUSSIA (OFFICER).
Points of wear to the leather lining; some scratches and dents to the helmet. Overall a nice relic of The Great War.
