Mezzanine, formerly Wendy Kowalski, is a nationally known artist from Wilmington, North Carolina. She has shown her work around the country, juried art festivals, and at the Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington. Her paintings explore the energy of bliss in the in-between realm which she calls Nebulon. She is an American figurative painter with an impressionistic and unique approach that can best be described as “visionist.”
