Qianlong Period (1736–1795), a large finely potted porcelain bowl with lightly dimpled orange peel glaze, hand-painted in the famille rose palette, the interior well with two youthful figures in a garden landscape, the interior sides populated with alternating figural cartouches and auspicious motifs, surrounded by colorful scrolling tendrils, the wide rim with pink-ground decorated with flora, the exterior sides with iron-red bats.
