Serial number V 724323 present on bottom of frame grip, numerals 80538 and character R present on inside of frame and crane, British Nitro Proof stamp and measurement numerals present on underside on 2 3/8 in. pinned barrel with serrated blade front sight, nickel plating, four screw side plate, exposed hammer and trigger, text MADE IN U.S.A. and S&W trademark insignia present on right side of frame, faux horn grip scales.

Overall good estate condition, nickel plating shows very fine scratches throughout with no flaking, three distinct cocking clicks observed, slightest perceivable end shake, barrel likely cut down from longer length with professional results, halo on bottom of frame grip indicating lanyard loop formerly present.
