Serial number BRC5458 present on bottom of frame grip and inner surface of frame, model designation M60 present below serial number inside frame, numerals 202 present on crane, text SMITH & WESSON present on left side of 1 7/8 in. barrel with serrated ramped front sight blade, text of .38 S&W SPL. present along right side of barrel, script LADY SMITH present on right side of frame beneath five round cylinder, exposed hammer, smooth grip scales with S&W medallion inlaid.
