No visible serial number (NVS), text of J. C. HIGGINS MODEL 25 PAT. PEND. SEARS, ROBUCK & CO. 583.2500 present on blued 22 in. barrel with dovetail rear sight with elevator and dovetail front sight, semi-automatic, manual safety, full length magazine tube, wooden stock with factory buttplate.
