Wool on cotton foundation, Romania, late 20th century, the elaborate poled medallion in salmon pinks and blues and black on a cream field, surrounded by twining palmette motifs, the salmon pink spandrels with floral and foliate motifs, the main black border filled with repeating floral and foliate and palmette motifs in salmon pink, blue, and cream, within multiple minor floral and geometric borders.
