Born in 1941 in Sanandaj, Iran, Elie Abrahami immigrated to Israel at 17, studied painting in Tel Aviv, and moved to Paris in 1970, where he won major awards that same year. His delicate watercolors and oil paintings blend eastern and western traditions and have been exhibited internationally, with works held in major collections including the Metropolitan Museum, the Guggenheim, and the British Museum. His work was also exhibited at Golconda Fine Art in 1999, 2002, and 2006.
