One of North Carolina's most recognized contemporary artists, Lowry studied art and primary education at East Carolina University. She furthered her art studies with Wolf Kahn and Sidney Goodman, developing a technique and palette all her own. Her paintings are included in numerous public and private collections, including the North Carolina Museum of Art.

Good estate condition, very minor wear to the panel edges.
