Likely cast after a model by Louis-Théophile Hingre (French, 1832-1911), circa 1900, patinated bronze, single sconce candlesticks in the form of a lily pad with budding lotus flower capital stemming from a round base featuring a seated frog, signed to the base.

Both interior capitals with wax residue; one candlestick without bobeche; the other with slight looseness to joint of stem to base; both without hardware to joint at center of lily pad; some rubbing to patina; light dust soiling to crevices at base.
