Alexandre (Alecos) Fassianos was a prominent Greek painter and printmaker known for his distinctive, stylized figures inspired by ancient Greek art and mythology. Educated at the Athens School of Fine Arts and later in Paris, his work blends classical themes with modern sensibilities, often depicting everyday scenes infused with poetic symbolism, figures with flowing hair, bicycles, and windswept forms are recurring motifs. Fassianos exhibited widely in Greece and internationally, and his work is held in major museum and private collections.
Good estate condition, not examined outside the frame.
