The car is non-operable, and is received from long term climate controlled storage.

With a turbocharged 3.0 liter V6 engine, and a five-speed manual transmission. The 50th Anniversary edition was limited to just 5,148 in the US market. This special edition was outfitted with fender flares, a special two-tone paint, turbo fan alloy wheels, 50th anniversary embroidered badging on the seats, a digital dashboard, and electronically controlled sport suspension.

Light Pewter Metallic and Thunder Black paint is accented with gold turbo script and gold pinstripes along the body. It is also equipped with T-Tops, and the original black out panels and storage cases are present.

Buyer's invoice will include tax, tag, and title fees, along with a document fee of $199 for NC and $399 out-of-state.

The Collection Of Thomas C. Johnson (Founder of Tom Johnson Camping Center) Marion, North Carolina.

Many of his vehicles were trade ins to his dealership, Tom Johnson Camping Center in Marion, NC, known as a major RV dealership and campground. Founded by Tom Johnson, Sr. in 1967 in his front yard, it grew into one of the nation's largest RV dealerships, renowned for its annual BBQ that drew thousands. Tom sold the business to Camping World in 2014, it permanently closed in April 2025.

In mostly original condition with just over 21k miles. With a new NC title and License and Theft inspection. The car was stolen and recovered in 1986, with dash VIN tag removed. Firewall, and door VIN are present. Original floor mats are present. Although not currently in running condition, in very good original condition.

Fuel tank and pump are contaminated, and fuel sender was destroyed upon removal, replacement unit is included; new battery installed to test systems; drivers door appears with a repaint; tires aged; no other apparent concerns.
