Goryeo dynasty (918-1392), 12th or 13th century, stoneware with carved and incised design under celadon glaze, the shallow bowl supported on a tall flared hollow foot, covered overall in a soft pale celadon glaze, the interior delicately incised with floral sprays beneath the glaze. The elegant proportions and restrained decoration exemplify the refined aesthetic associated with Goryeo celadon wares.

Overall very good condition; light crazing to whole; nick to foot rim; minor kiln imperfections and firing marks.
