Early to mid-20th century, carved giltwood deep frame with raised bosses, surmounted spread winged eagle perched on rockwork mount above scrolling acanthus leaves, acanthus leaves to apron, unmarked.

Pediment with areas of looseness and cracking; some cracking to pediment, nick to one leaf at right; bosses with loss to gilt; possible later gilt touchups to frame; water damage visible to verso.
