Garrett Speirs is a plein air landscape painter who lives and works in California and in Italy. He received his BFA from the University of Utah and his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan in 1992. Before moving to California, Speirs taught at the Sawtooth Center for Visual Art in Winston-Salem, North Carolina for 5 years.
