Late 18th century, mahogany veneer with light and dark wood inlays, white pine secondary, hinged top with single gate-leg support, conforming skirt with barber pole line inlays, straight tapered legs with intertwined line and cuff inlays, the underside with old black paint inscription "E. S. Cl..... / New Castle" likely referencing Delaware.

Front right leg reset and with hairline crack and areas of surface fill; left side skirt with areas of loss at lower edge; scuffs and inlay loss to feet.
