Ming dynasty (1368-1644), celadon white jade with light russet brown inclusions, skillfully carved as a recumbent horse, its head tucked serenely away nestled alongside its four legs neatly folded under the body, its long tail swept to one side, the mane finely incised into clusters that fall to either side of its neck.
