Three Pairs of English 18th Century Brass Candlesticks

Second quarter 18th century, all unsigned, brazed seam construction with stems peened to their bases, the shortest pair having square base with coved corners (6 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 in.); the second pair with lobed base, hexagonal faceted shaft with welled dish bobeche (7 x 4 x 4 in.); the third and tallest pair with lobed base stepped shoulder and integral petal bobeche (8 x 4 x 4 in.).

Age appropriate condition; some minor denting; one hexagonal faceted candlestick with solder to underside; one of the tallest with solder to underside and area of loss to bobeche.
