Second quarter 18th century, all unsigned, brazed seam construction with stems peened to their bases, the shortest pair having square base with coved corners (6 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 in.); the second pair with lobed base, hexagonal faceted shaft with welled dish bobeche (7 x 4 x 4 in.); the third and tallest pair with lobed base stepped shoulder and integral petal bobeche (8 x 4 x 4 in.).
From the Estate of the late Mr. John L. Stone and Mrs. Josephine T. Stone, Middlesex, North Carolina Age appropriate condition; some minor denting; one hexagonal faceted candlestick with solder to underside; one of the tallest with solder to underside and area of loss to bobeche.
