Seven English 18th Century Brass Candlesticks, including Shell Base

Mid-18th century, unsigned, each having brazed stem with integral nozzle, each with different shaped base including the tallest with petal base, long plain shaft with shaped knop and slightly flared nozzle lip (10 x 5 x 5 in.); the second with petal base faceted shoulder with integral concave bobeche (8 3/4 x 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 in.); the third with square base having welled dish top, plain stem with faceted shoulder and integral ringed bobeche (9 x 4 1/8 x 4 1/8 in.); the fourth having domed base with lobed edge, faceted stem and shoulder with integral concave bobeche (7 3/4 x 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 in.); the fifth with shell base dual knopped stem with plain nozzle (9 3/4 in.); and a pair with petal and shell bases, each with removable six shell bobeche (9 x 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 in.).

Areas of minor denting and nicks commensurate with age; two integral concave bobeches with some minor mis-shaping; shell base with slight wobble; petal and shell base with two small holes to one base shell form.
