Serial number V56816 present on inside of frame and crane, text of PYTHON 357 and 357 MAGNUM CTG present on right of 6 in. barrel with vent rib and pinned front blade sight and adjustable rear sight, COLT rampant pony present on left side of frame, checkered wooden grip scales with inlaid COLT medallions.

Overall excellent estate condition, bluing is superb with rare tiny marks from handling along left side of barrel and between three cylinder flutes, faint turn mark from cylinder stop, sharp and crisp checkering, factory box shows wear throughout along edges and other surfaces, factory manual remains wrapped in plastic inside box.
