Attributed to Southwest Virginia, circa 1830-1840, maple, mahogany and mahogany veneer case with yellow pine and poplar secondary, the top with applied rounded edge, three flush upper projecting drawers with cock bead over a central bank of three graduated drawers flanked by two upper drawers over two hinged double paneled doors all with cock beading, shelved and divided interiors, half turned maple stiles, double paneled sides, turned maple feet.

Top right drawer with some white chalk lettering to underside.

Overall good age appropriate condition; top with some minor dents, scratches and tight shrinkage cracks; pulls are old and in the original holes; plugs below escutcheons to cabinet doors (from previous pull placement); later vertical dividers to lower right cabinet; veneer patch at escutcheon to bottom center drawer; some veneer buckling above central feet.
