Wool and silk on linen, likely English, the first with several pious phrases worked in elaborate stitches, with decorative foliate bands, with intricate embroidery, the lower panel with detached floral and insect motifs above three doves landing on trees, with bunnies frolicking below, framed under glass in dark wood frame with gold fillet; the second worked primarily in cross stitch with alphanumeric bands divided by decorative borders above several rows of family initials and names including "Isabella Edward / Aged 10 1838," the lower panel with floral and animal motifs, framed.
The first 18 x 22 1/2 in. framed dimensions, 13 x 17 1/2 in. sight size.
The second 10 x 19 in. framed dimensions, 8 x 17 in. sight size.
