Circa 1900, featuring ornate etched figural and foliate bands in the late-16th-century Milanese style, enhanced with niello or lampblack and gilt; the morion-cabasset of typical almond form skull with apical stalk, having an upswept brim with pointed terminals (12 x 13 x 10 in.); the cuirass breast plate of "peascod" form with medial ridge and flared waist (20 x 15 x 8 1/2 in.). Both pieces unsigned.
