Attributed to Pennsylvania, circa 1800, two part form, white pine secondary, the upper bookcase dovetailed and with applied cornice molding, two hinged cabinet doors, open panel with applied molded edge, lipped outer edge, shelved interior with cock beaded front edge, the desk with hinged slant board having bread board ends, loper supports, developed interior with central prospect door, eight valanced pigeon holes, four small drawers, three open compartments, the case with four graduated lipped drawers, shaped bracket foot base.

From the Collection of Bill Ivey, Asheboro, North Carolina Patch and repair at hinged joint areas; hairline split to center of lid; marring to lid; cut, patch and repair at desk full width of hinge; later pulls; missing locks; drawer runners and drawer guides rebuilt; left rear foot later, other feet are old and appear original; lower desk case sides with shrinkage splits.
