Mid-Atlantic Chippendale Walnut Tall Chest of Drawers

Attributed to Pennsylvania, circa 1780, poplar and white pine secondary, dovetailed case with applied cornice molding, three over two over four graduated lipped drawers, upper small drawers with 3/4 dust boards, fluted quarter columns, molded base, bold ogee bracket feet with pronounced spur.

The side cases form stile of which the side foot facings are applied to; front foot facings adhere to the brace block; feet are old and appear original.

Small center drawer with three corner cut and patches; other drawers with small corner patches; drawer runners rebuilt; pulls appear old and in original holes; some missing locks.
