Wool on cotton foundation; finely knotted, the dark red field with central poled medallion filled with palmette and floral motifs, surrounded by lattice of scrolling palmette motifs, the navy and cream spandrels with floral and palmette clusters, the main wide navy border with repeating scrolling palmette and floral motifs, within multiple floral and rosette borders.

Fringes trimmed; reinforcement strips to either side of verso (one strip with tear); otherwise good estate condition.
