Circa 1870, likely France, pink silk damask to one side, printed cotton chintz to verso, hand quilted and stuffed to form a decorative composition in relief with flower baskets to each corner and a sunburst to center; accompanied by book, "Quilts of Provence" by Kathryn Berenson

The silk top is comprised of 3 joined panels, so the seams are apparent; with one large spot of discoloration that affects both sides; tiny scattered areas of discoloration; a few pinprick holes; overall good estate condition.
