Diane Virkler was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and spent her adult life in Charlotte, North Carolina. After studying fashion design and communications in college, she enjoyed a successful career in the real estate industry in Charlotte. She was an avid painter throughout her adult life and exhibited her works at numerous galleries throughout North Carolina.
