Circa 1820, mahogany veneer, poplar secondary, two part form, the attached cornice featuring Gothic arch and teardrop within a vertically veneered frieze, the bookcase with two hinged cabinet doors, astragal moldings, louvered shelved interior, the desk with upper deep pull-out butler's desk, interior with central prospect door, seven small drawers, eight valanced pigeon holes, green baize writing surface, above three graduated cock beaded drawers, paneled sides, turned feet.

Cut and repair to upper right rear corner of cornice; later hinges; dark staining to top of desk; later green baize with staining; later pulls; verdigris to upper desk pulls; two veneer chips and loss at bottom front edge.
