Three Kingdoms period, Silla Kingdom (57 BCE–676 CE), 5th century, stoneware vessel with bluish-gray surface, of globular form rising from a hollow openwork foot, the tall cylindrical neck stamped with geometric bands above a broad shoulder decorated with a repeating incised wave pattern, areas of ash encrustation and kiln accretions add interest to the surface.

Good estate condition; rubbing and wear expected with age; white encrustations scattered to surface, especially lower body and foot; two large glaze firing kiln marks to neck and upper shoulder of vessel.
