Private Collection, Chapel Hill, North Carolina Rose Cabat (1914-2015) and Erni Cabat (1914-1994) were American potters living in Tucson, Arizona. They are best known for their "Feelies," small vases that they started creating in the mid-20th century. Rose threw the forms on the wheel and her husband assisted her in glazing them. "Feelies" are characterized by their small size, tactile quality, smooth and matte yet often striking glazes, and neck and opening that are intentionally extremely narrow.
