Late 19th century, France, polychrome ceramic, figure of a crowing rooster in front of a rectangular vase in the form of a stone structure with ivy and pink flowers, designed by Louis Carrier-Belleuse; impressed signature to base and stamped "HB & Cie Choisy-le-Roi France" to underside with additional impressed marks including pattern number 1569.

Stickers and sticker residue to vase interior and underside; a couple of small chips to base; an occasional glaze flake (heaviest flaking at tip of one tail feather); glaze crazing; restoration to base and tail.
