Japanese Shinto Era Blade (1597-1780) With WWII Scabbard and Fittings

Blade 28 1/2 in., sword's overall length 39 1/2 in.; wooden scabbard fitted with combat leather, pierced tsuba under a collar featuring clouds and dragons; rayskin and minuki on grip with heavy cloth binding, decorative brass pommel repeating the cloud over dragon motif.

A few abrasions to the leather scabbard; some spotting to the blade and tsbuba; wear to the scabbard's suspension ring. Overall very good condition.
