14k gold with enamel decoration; serial number 912 is paired with N.Y. on the reverse of the crown, likely indicating the owner's home state; the front has an Indian's profile within the motto FORTITER PRO PATRIA whereas the reverse shows an armed colonist within the organization's motto SOCIETY OF COLONIAL WARS, 1607-1775. The whole presentation is suspended from a crimson ribbon with white border.

Minor scuffs to the box as expected; the medal, however, is in exceptional condition.
