A Georgian Inlaid Mahogany Box

Early 19th century, mahogany veneers, serpentine form with marquise form escutcheon and ring mounts, lid featuring light and dark wood star inlay with banded inlaid borders, the obverse body centering oval shell marquetry between fluted motifs, opens to a divided interior for document storage, flush base.
