George III Mahogany Inlaid Knife Box

Circa 1800, mahogany veneers, serpentine form with shaped escutcheon and ring mounts, lid featuring patera inlay to the top and star inlay to the underside, with light and dark line inlay borders, opens to a divided interior for cutlery storage, flush base with old red leather surface.
