Early 20th century, gilt brass arched face with ornate relief spandrels framing a 12-inch engraved steel dial with gilt Arabic chapters, lunette with calendar and painted moonphase, signed GERMANY to the lower border, the 8-day three weight driven brass works with chain wind, the backplate signed "GERMANY" with early Lion mark of Uhrenfabrik Mühlheim, Müller & Co., serial number 172201, featuring a 6-inch musical cylinder, five tube chime; set within a inlaid mahogany case with domed bonnet, trunk with wavy glass panels, raised on paw feet. Includes three weights, pendulum, five tube chimes and case key.
