Richard Oversmith is an American impressionist painter based in North Carolina, known for his plein air landscapes, still lifes, and scenes inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains. Trained at Kendall College of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art in London, he works primarily in oil, emphasizing light, atmosphere, and color. A Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society, Oversmith has exhibited widely across the United States and is represented by galleries throughout the Southeast.
