Lot Details & Additional Photographs
A 4 1/4-inch tooth, with dark gray root supporting two-toned gray enamel with scattered orange and white flecks; resting against a wooden dowel on a custom fossilized whale bone stand. Found off the coast of North Carolina.
On stand approximately 4 1/8 x 5 3/4 x 2 3/8 in.
A colorful tooth with nice form, retaining most of its enamel and some luster; with some chipping at the edges and at the tip typical of these larger teeth (mostly to the back), and a very small worn chip to root.
