Continental Miniature Gilt Brass Carriage Clock in Case

Circa 1900, 3/4-inch round dial with Roman and Arabic chapters, ornate floral relief face flanked by foliate stiles within a rectangular gilt brass case with beveled crystal panels and upper swing handle, jeweled platform escapement, impressed "121" to the posterior winding plate and key, together with a fitted blue silk upholstered case with a gilt J.R. monogram to the hinged lid.

Clock 2 1/2 x 1 5/8 x 1 3/8 in. (handle down); case 3 1/4 x 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 in.
