Two Framed Antique Embroidered Chasuble Panels

Silk and metallic thread applique on velvet, French or English, the likely late-17th-century embroidered multicolored and metallic floral elements removed from their original linen or silk ground and attached to velvet chasuble at a later date, possibly 19th century, the chasuble now separated at the shoulders for display, floated on linen and framed with front and back in matching black frames.
