Japanese Katana Sword, WWII Era or Before

With a 29 in. slightly curved blade featuring a prominent hamon or tempering line; the sword's rayskin grip is decorated with brass menuki on either side; the pierced brass tsuba (guard) is decorated with a linear pattern and is placed directly below the bronze fuchi (collar). The sword has a lacquered wooden scabbard with suspension cord.
