Circa 1700, paneled lid with snipe hinges, interior with till to the left side, the front with carved and inlaid panels, paneled sides, straight legs from the solid.

Attractive old warm patina throughout; top with marring and surface wear from use; later hinges over the old snipe hinges; missing lid to till; missing lock/clasp/key; small patch above lock area; insect damage; chipping to the feet.
