Mid-20th century, West African (Nigeria or vicinity), Yoruba beadwork and cowrie shell sashes, the first decorated in figural horse and rider, fish, bird, and double headed snake, against a gray ground within serrated borders, the reverse mounted for wall hanging (60 x 8 3/4 x 1 in.); the second with figural mask, lizard, and bird decoration (43 1/2 x 6 x 1 in.).
