From the Estate of the late Francine Pilloff, Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Fred Johnston studied pottery in Seagrove, N.C. and at Alfred University and Penn State University. His work can be found in several museum permanent collections, including the Mint Museum in Charlotte. He established Johnston & Gentithes Art Pottery in Seagrove with his wife in 1997.

Minor firing anomalies; good estate condition.
