Antique English Inlaid Rosewood Writing Slope

Late 19th century, rosewood veneers, mahogany secondary, rectangular hinged form, inlaid silver toned upper lid escutcheon and key escutcheon, interior with divided compartments for pens and inkwells, retaining one glass pounce pot, dark green velvet writing surface, lifting to a white papered storage; unmarked.

Some light shrinkage to veneers mostly to upper lid; writing service upholstery with areas of wear; later white paper and felt underside.
