Martin Mull was an American painter, actor, comedian, musician, and writer whose visual art career paralleled his success in television and film. Born in Chicago and raised in Ohio, he earned both a BFA and MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. While widely recognized for his roles in Fernwood 2 Night, Roseanne, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Arrested Development, and Veep, Mull maintained a prolific studio practice, creating meticulously rendered paintings that blend realism with wit, satire, and surreal humor.

Mull's artwork has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States and is represented in numerous public and private collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. His paintings often parody American culture and suburban life.
